Paris is…well, chic.  Starting from the 18th century, France became the culture capital of the world. Every woman wanted to dress and act like a french woman. With the famous lives of French female royalty documented in films today such as Sophia Coppola’s “Marie Antoinette,” how can we blame the women of the 18th century?  They just wanted to be fashionable and chic like many women do today.  Trends might have changed from silk corsets and white wigs to black blazers and skinny jeans, but french fashion icons like that of Marie Antoinette still influence women as if over two hundred years haven’t gone by.  Current fabulous French it girls include Lou Dillion (daughter of famous Jane Birkin), Charlotte Gainsbourg (daughter of Serge Gainsbourg) and Clemence Poesy (actress).  All of these girls have mastered the look that French woman are known for.
