I thought that it was high time for this blog to add some street style. This past Sunday I went to the Huntington gardens in Pasadena and ran into this little fashionista. If anything, she teaches us that great style can be affordable!

While I love my own blog dearly and so should all of you (I hope!), I’d like to recommend some more style/lifestyle blogs for you all to visit…I’ve just stumbled upon them myself and they’ve all managed to give me my daily style fix…

http://www.vivavenacava.blogspot.com

The designers duo Vena Cava just started their own blog! They outline many of their current inspirations. You should also check out their khaki collection for gap! So chic and affordable!

Fashion Squad- http://www.aperfectguide.se/fashionsquad

gorgeous girl, stunning shoes, and tons of fabulous fashion inspiration!

http://www.ohsococo.blogspot.com

The model Coco Rocha started a blog as well. It’s interesting to see first hand from a model’s perspective…

http://www.losangeles.ohmyrockness.com

This site shows the list of Indie artists playing in Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. One of my best friends just let me in on this site. I wish they would add Boston to their list of cities though!

The girl who runs this site has the best shoes EVER! She even got her own shoe line out of it for Urban Outfitters.

Gorgeous Gwyneth

Gwyneth Paltrow is just amazing. Whether she’s being the wife to Chris Martin, the oscar winning actress, the cosmetics model, the diet guru, the mother to her adorable children Moses and Apple or the everyday style icon, Gwyneth takes pride in what she does.  I just recently stumbled upon her website–http://www.goop.com. Her website/newsletter tells us all how to live like Gwyneth.  She tells us where to eat in certain cities, what macrobiotic food she cooks at home, how she puts together her outfits and just how important healthy living is in 2009.  While it’s not exactly practical or affordable for us all to live like Gwyneth Paltrow all the time, Who wouldn’t want to try to look even a quarter as great as she does? So I dare you, try a recipe or two, read about the macrobiotic diet, stay in a hotel she recommends, because let’s face it the girl knows how to live gorgeously!

Pedro Garcia shoes

I’ve always loved shoes by Pedro Garcia. While his shoes may be expensive, they are unlike any other brand out there.  Their innovative design somehow manages to be comfortable and sexy.  I first found out about these shoes from my roommate at boarding school and then just yesterday, my mother showed me a pair she just purchased in Las Vegas.  Flats, high heels or espadrilles Pedro Garcia has been manufacturing shoes for 75 years. Now I may have started loving Pedro Garcia shoes on the feet of others, but I feel I could only truly worship them if they were on my own two feet! Here are some of his divine designs…0403211674525R_300x400
